This week, we reviewed the entire piece, and I have to say that I am not really pleased with my performance. I am frustrated mostly because I messed up on things that I did well on previously. I do have to factor in that this week was very busy, and practice time was hard to come by. I also had an event earlier in the day (tea ceremony presentation), which left me with little energy for the lesson. The take away for me here is don't schedule a lesson after an event like that!! But as long as the lack of practice doesn't become habitual, we should be ok. Next week, the plan is to be able to play more independently. So practice, practice, practice!!!
