We had a two week gap in lessons due to illness. Whenever that happens, I am always concerned that I will do poorly since I usually forget everything from the previous lesson. This lesson honestly went fairly well, all things considered. I had no real issues with the maeuta, except that I still read a little Japanese slow and when there are this many words, it can be hard for me to keep up. There are some very difficult techniques in the tegoto, and I am improving, but they still need work. We did the atouta for the first time this week, and it was about like the maeuta. Pretty straightforward - just a quick pace. I am hopeful that we will complete this piece next week.
